Questions for week Feb 7th - 13th

Life is a Team Sport, Get in the Game

Just for Fun: Have you ever attended a Super Bowl? What was the last football game you attended?

1) Pastor Mark shared this statement with us, Show me your friends and I'll show you your future. How have you seen your friends effect your life, positively and negatively?

2) There are a few contributing factors to feelings of isolation. Increased Mobility (people move frequently) Modern Conveniences (things like air conditioning causes us to stay indoors more) Attached Garages (people used to park in their yards which enabled more interaction with neighbors) and Social Media (we communicate constantly but rarely are we connecting).
Of these, which one do you see has effected you the most and why?

3) We are all one meaningful relationship away from a new life trajectory. But not only can a relationship be a catalyst in our life change, we can be that friend that helps change someone else's life.
  • What gifts and talents do you feel you have to offer others?
  • Who is someone in your life that you have been a friend or mentor to?
  • If you have not had that opportunity, pray for God to send someone to you that you can teach, encourage and help grow. This will help you grow spiritually and relationally at the same time.
4)  Read Acts 2:42-47.
  • What words would you say best describe the atmosphere of this passage?
  • What made the early church so appealing to others?

5) The word “devoted” is used in verse 42 and means “to give your constant attention.”
  • What activities did the early Christians “devote themselves to” in this verse?
  • How devoted are you to each of these things?

6) How has being in Life Group grown you relationally and spiritually?

Close out your time together praying for God to use your group to be a continual blessing and support to one another.
