Questions for week Aug 26th - Sept 1st

1) What impacted you the most about Sunday's sermon A Heart to Hear God’s Voice?

2) Has there ever been a time in your life that you know definitively that God has spoken to you in some way?  Please share about it if you can.

3) Why do you think it is so difficult at times to hear and receive God’s voice?

4) Is it possible after Sunday’s message that you recognize God has been trying to speak to you about certain things but you just have not recognized his voice?

Questions for week August 19th - 25th

1) Read James 1:2-4 in a couple different translations finishing up reading it in the Message Translation. What are the first thoughts that come to your mind when hearing these verses?

2) What has been one of your greatest testings in life?

3) The reason for testing is to expose the true state of our faith and to expand the capacity of our faith. How has your testings exposed and expanded your faith?

4) Have you ever fought the process of testing?  What was the result?  Did you have to retake the test?

5) Was there anything that impacted you greatly regarding Sunday's message that you have not aleady discussed?  Please share.

1) Have you ever felt like your life had no meaning?  What led you to feel this way? Example: The way you were raised, the situations you have encountered, etc.

2) How do you handle the situations in your life you can't seem to figure out? Example: Keep doing what you know to do, trust that in the end all will work out, etc.

3) How does knowing that everyday is a gift from God help you move through the day or change the way you move through the day?

4) Read Ecclesiastes 12:11-14 

The only time Solomon was fulfilled was when he followed hard after God.  He learned everything you pursue in life apart from God is meaningless.

What about you, when are you most fulfilled in life?  

5) What about the message most impacted?  What is your one main take-a-way?
